My name is Samantha (but you can call me Sam!), and I’m the founder and owner of The Urban Paw, a premium pet care company based here in beautiful Miami, FL!

Animals have been a part of my life for as long as I can remember. I was fortunate to grow up on a 100-acre working farm, where I cared for a wide variety of animals—from dogs and cats to cows and chickens. That early experience shaped my lifelong love for animals, and I've continued to provide regular care for both dogs and cats ever since. In 2024, I transformed my passion for animals into a professional endeavor by founding The Urban Paw.

My mission is to ensure your pet feels loved, safe, and happy while you're away. I offer a complimentary in-person meet-and-greet before accepting any booking. This gives your pet a chance to get to know me in your presence and allows you to walk me through their daily routine, food, treats, favorite toys, and any special instructions. This meeting helps build trust and comfort for both you and your pet before I begin caring for them. Lastly, for your peace of mind, I am fully insured and certified in Pet First Aid.
